Calling all movie buffs! The Gold Coast Film Festival is back for its 22nd year, bringing a dazzling array of Australian and international cinema to the heart of Australia’s screen capital, the Gold Coast.

From April 17th to 28th, get ready for 12 jam-packed days and nights celebrating the power of film. Immerse yourself in a diverse program of short and feature films, each offering unique perspectives and captivating stories.

The festival is a haven for both established and emerging filmmakers. Not only will you see a selection of local and independent gems, but there will also be industry panels, special events, and award ceremonies recognizing excellence in filmmaking.

Aspiring screenwriters, directors, and producers won’t want to miss the free industry education events offered through the Gold Coast Film Festival Public Giving Fund. This is your chance to learn, connect, and take your filmmaking journey to the next level.

Supported by the Queensland Government, Experience Gold Coast, and the City of Gold Coast, the Gold Coast Film Festival promises an unforgettable cinematic experience.
