Saddle up for an unforgettable long weekend as the Groundwater Country Music Festival returns to the golden sands of Broadbeach this October, promising three jam-packed days of country soul under the Queensland sun. With a 2025 lineup bursting with talent from both sides of the Pacific, this coastal celebration delivers a powerful mix of chart-toppers, fresh faces, and iconic voices that will have fans two-stepping from the streets to the sea.
Headlining the charge is none other than Australian country royalty Troy Cassar-Daley, riding high after a historic Golden Guitar sweep and ready to electrify audiences with his signature storytelling and deep connection to the genre. He’s joined by US country breakout Jackson Dean, whose gritty hit Don’t Come Lookin’ has made waves across both hemispheres. The festival also welcomes homegrown heavyweights like the ever-charismatic Brad Cox and high-energy favourites Shane Smith & The Saints and The Wolfe Brothers, along with breakout stars including Lane Pittman, the young Tamworth firecracker lighting up the charts, and viral sensation Sara Berki, whose heartfelt rendition of Take Me Home, Country Roads captured hearts around the world.
Felicity Kircher, crowned the 2025 Toyota Star Maker, rounds out a stellar headline contingent that represents the future of country music. The full lineup brings together rising talents and established acts for a genre-spanning journey that includes Max Jackson, The Buckleys, Minor Gold, and dancefloor favourites Round Mountain Girls, all set against the unique backdrop of beachside stages and vibrant local venues.
This twelfth edition of the beloved free festival captures everything fans adore about Groundwater — sunshine, surf, and a soundtrack that celebrates the heart and roots of country music. Whether you’re swaying under the palms, line dancing with Chris Watson, or catching a show from a breezy bar balcony, Groundwater promises a sensory feast and a whole lot of soul.
