Australian rock legends Jet are set to bring The Rumblin’ Regional Revue to Miami Marketta on Saturday 7 November 2026.
Originally hailing from Dingley in Melbourne, Jet conquered the globe after forming in 2001. Their 2003 debut album “Get Born” sold more than 6.5 million copies worldwide, securing almost 10 times Platinum certification in Australia and Platinum status in the USA and UK. The album delivered a massive run of classic singles, including “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”, “Rollover DJ”, and “Look What You’ve Done”, netting the band six ARIA awards in 2004. Both “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” and “Cold Hard Bitch” hit number one on the US Modern Rock singles charts, pushing the band to the top of festival bills worldwide.
Reflecting on the album, Nic Cester said, “Get Born was a rare and unique moment of total planetary alignment where we somehow managed to capture lighting in a bottle.”
A Legacy of Rock
Following the massive success of their debut, Jet released their follow up album “Shine On” in 2006. It was packed with melodic rock tracks like “Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is”, “Bring It On Back”, and “Rip It Up”, achieving platinum status in Australia.
The year 2023 marked two decades since the release of “Get Born”. To celebrate, Jet embarked on their first band shows in five years, playing the album in full to revisit the timeless tracklist that won them fans around the globe. That same year, Jet received the honour of being inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame.
High-Energy Support
Joining Jet at Miami Marketta will be Liquid Zoo, a Sydney indie rock five-piece known for their high-energy live shows. Their music hits hard with punchy riffs, driving rhythms, and anthemic songs. They bring a sound that channels the swagger of The Strokes and the grit of early Kings of Leon, combined with the explosive intensity of Amyl and the Sniffers and the fresh edge of Fontaines D.C..
The event runs from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm at Miami Marketta, located at 23 Hillcrest Parade, Miami, Queensland. Please note this is an 18+ event.
