The Pacific Airshow is returning to the Gold Coast. From 16th to 18th August, the skies above Surfers Paradise will come alive with aerial acrobatics, jet-powered spectacle, and ground-breaking technology. Building on the experience of the inaugural sell-out event in 2023, this year’s show promises even more excitement with a massive lineup of performerscoming to queensland.

The Royal Australian Air Force’s 100 Squadron heritage aircraft will grace the Gold Coast skies en masse for the first time. The RAAF Roulettes, known for their breathtaking aerobatic displays, are also confirmed for daily shows in their Pilatus PC-21s.
This years airshow will be a dazzling showcase of international talent. Headlining the list of international civilian acts is Arizona’s Jeff Boerboon, who wowed the crowds last year in his unique Yak110. The UK’s Gravity Industries, featuringtwo pilots sporting revolutionary jet suits, will make their Pacific Airshow® debut, bringing an exciting glimpse into the future of human flight.
Event director Kevin Elliott expressed his excitement about Gravity Industries’ participation, noting their alignment with airshow’s commitment to showcasing the future of mobility technology. “We are stoked to bring it up close and personal for the fans to see,” said Elliott.
The event will also see the debut of the first-ever T-33 Shooting Star jet in Australia, imported exclusively for the Australian show. Veteran T-33 pilot Greg Colyer will pilot the jet, which is painted in the original Thunderbird livery from 1954.
We eagerly anticipate the return of the US Marine Corps Ospreys and the US Air Force’s C-17, as well as the Australian premiere of the US Navy Leap Frogs. Our own Australian aviation legend and Pacific Airshow Brand Ambassador Matt Hall will take to the skies, joined by female aerobatic pilot Emma McDonald.
Elliott reflected on the success of the 2023 show and voiced his excitement for this year’s event. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone back to the Gold Coast for our second year,” said Elliott. He assured fans that 2024 would be “even bigger and more exciting both in the air and on the ground in Surfers Paradise.”

USAF F-22 RAPTOR (X2)
Coming all the way from Hawaii’s Pacific Air Forces Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, the F-22 fighter jets are set to showcase why they are considered some of the most formidable and lethal aircraft in the world.
“We’re thrilled to announce that the F-22 Raptor will make its debut at the airshow with not just one, but two of these amazing machines!” said Kevin Elliott, the Airshow Director.
RAAF F-18 – Super Hornet Display
Witness the power and agility of the RAAF Super Hornet as it returns to the coast, performing high-speed manoeuvres and showcasing its advanced capabilities!
SQNLDR Wood from 1 Squadron at RAAF Base Amberley in Queensland made his debut with the F-18 Super Hornet handling display for the Gold Coast public last year, reaching speeds of up to 1,100 km/h and flying as low as 50 metres over the water, capturing the attention of hundreds of thousands

JEFF BOERBOON: YAK 110
Jeff is back for round two in the spectacular Yak 110 aircraft, which was originally conceived by renowned Airshow pilot Jeff Boerboon and Master Mechanic Dell Coller in 2013. The Yak-110 is a one-off design that was constructed by joining two Yak-55 fuselages and a jet engine mounted in between.
UNITED STATES NAVY LEAP FROGS
The United States Navy Parachute Team, known as “The Leap Frogs,” is the official parachute demonstration team of the U.S. Navy. They are part of the United States Naval Special Warfare Command and consist of active-duty Navy SEALs and Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen.

Aarron Deliu, hailing from Down Under, captivates, inspires, and thrills audiences from all walks of life with his high-adrenaline airshows.
As an aerobatic pilot, airshow performer, and Air Race Pilot, Aarron competes in both Australian and international competitions, delivering exhilarating and unique performances worldwide and heads up the best civilian performers.
MXS – MATT HALL RACING
Matt is the current Red Bull Air Race world champion. He made history in 2009 by placing third in his debut world championship race, becoming the first rookie to reach the podium. Since then, Matt has secured seven wins and 25 podium finishes. In 2019, he was crowned the world champion, establishing himself as the most successful air racing pilot of the modern era.
EMMA MCDONALD: EXTRA 330
Emma wowed audiences with her solo performances at both the Huntington Beach and Gold Coast airshows, and she’s back for 2024! Emma’s moves are an absolute vibe—you won’t want to miss her incredible stunts as she pushes the limits!
UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS MV-22’S
Two MV-22 Ospreys will showcase their unique tiltrotor capabilities, combining the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruising performance of a turboprop aircraft
GREG COLYER – T-33 SHOOTING STAR
Californian Greg Colyer will take to the skies in the iconic T-33 Shooting Star, demonstrating the elegance and history of this classic jet trainer aircraft that has trained generations of pilots.
FREEDOM FORMATION
Freedom Formation is the largest formation aerobatic display team in the Southern Hemisphere. Their signature multi-layer display routine will keep you guessing where to look next. ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIRFORCE ROULETTES

RED STAR ROOLETTES
Taking a break from their day jobs as QANTAS pilots, the Red Star Roolettes will entertain with their skilled aerobatics and formation flying. The team flies two types of aircraft: the Nanchang CJ-6A and the Yak-52.
SCREAMING DIAMONDS
Returning to the Airshow after their spectacular performance last yearis the crowd favourite, the “Screaming Diamonds.”
Led by pilot Adrian van der Sluys, the team will feature a Pitts S1-11 and two Pitts S1Ts, looping, weaving, and diving in a vibrant display sure to impress even the biggest kids on the beach!
HAYDEN PULLEN: EXTRA 330SC
Local professional aerobatic pilot Hayden Pullen will perform in his own Extra 330 LT, known for its agility and speed, demonstrating high-energy aerobatics that push the limits of both pilot and machine.
FASTJET – L-39’S
The FASTJET Airshow Display Team is a formidable group of four highly skilled pilots who bring thrilling aerial performances to audiences across Australia. Based in Bathurst, NSW, this team is led by Charlie ‘Squid’ Camilleri, an experienced pilot known for his precision and daring maneuvers.
ADF RED BERETS PARACHUTE DISPLAY TEAM
Our Australian own highly skilled team will perform thrilling parachute jumps, showcasing the ADF’s world-class precision and training.
RAF FALCONS PARACHUTE DISPLAY TEAM
Widely recognised as the UK’s premier military parachute display team, the RAF Falcons are based at RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire. As an official display team for The Royal Air Force they showcase defence by demonstrating military parachuting capability and engaging audiences worldwide.

The Royal Australian Air Force’s 100 Squadron fleet of vintage aircraft will take to the Gold Coast skies in force for the first time in 2024!
