Aussie singer-songwriter Ziggy Alberts has just announced his latest regional Australian tour scheduled for March and April 2027. Returning to the coastal towns and regional communities where his career first began, the tour kicks off a fresh chapter of live performances following the release of his new album, TWIN FLAMES. The tour spans sixteen dates across South Australia, Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Victoria.

From his early days busking on the streets of Byron Bay, Ziggy Alberts has developed into one of Australia’s most prolific independent touring artists. His international trajectory reached major milestones in 2025 alone, playing to more than 100,000 people worldwide and selling out London’s historic Royal Albert Hall. Throughout this success, Alberts has maintained a focus on the direct connection that live performance generates between an artist and the audience.

The upcoming tour centres on the performance of material from TWIN FLAMES, a project that encapsulates Alberts’ musical spirit while introducing a fresh edge to his sound. Pushing the songwriter into new territory, the album elevates his voice and stands as one of his strongest releases to date, complementing his established catalogue.

The album has already achieved over four million streams across debuted at number 6 on the ARIA Australian Albums chart. During the upcoming tour, audiences will experience TWIN FLAMES tracks alongside a selection of Alberts’ fan favourites such as ‘Laps Around The Sun’, ‘Runaway’, and ‘Days In The Sun’.

Reflecting on his decision to head back to the regions, Alberts reflected on the memorable experience of his previous tour:

“I’m heading back on tour around regional Australia next year. We did a regional tour two years ago and it was just amazing: the community spirit, all ages events, families coming together and people taking road trips to come to the shows. It was a killer time. I loved it so much that I couldn’t wait to do it again with Twin Flames. There’s no better way to start this new era than in my favourite small towns across the country.”

A key focus of the 2027 tour is its emphasis on bringing together fans of every age and background for nights built around community and music. Almost the entire tour is structured around all-ages events, with the only exceptions being the 18+ shows scheduled for Toowoomba and Frankston.
In a notable milestone for local live music, the show at Hotel Brunswick in Brunswick Heads will mark the historic venue’s first-ever all-ages event.

“In a time where we’re all feeling pressure from many different angles, I think it’s more important than ever for us to gather together with music. Singing and dancing together is one way to help us all keep going.” Alberts said.

The tour itinerary begins on Friday 5 March 2027 at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre before moving through Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT, and Victoria. Key stops include Tasmania’s Odeon Pub and Forth Pub, Queensland’s Blackflag Brewing on the Sunshine Coast, New South Wales dates at Bar on the Hill in Newcastle and Bellingen Memorial Hall, Victoria’s Her Majesty’s Theatre in Ballarat and Lorne Theatre, and the UC Refectory in Canberra, before wrapping up on Saturday 17 April at the Oak and Anchor Hotel in Port Fairy.

General public tickets go on sale from 9am local time on Wednesday 11 November. An artist pre-sale will run from 9am local time on Monday 9 November until 9am local time on Wednesday 11 November.
