Canadian rock icon Bryan Adams is returning to Australia next summer for his highly anticipated Roll With The Punches Tour, bringing a major announcement for Gold Coast fans. Responding to huge demand across the country, the GRAMMY and Academy Award-winning singer-songwriter has added an exclusive, one-night-only performance at The Star Gold Coast on Tuesday 2 March 2027.
The upcoming Gold Coast performance is a unique highlight of the national tour. The Star Gold Coast will be the only Australian city where Adams presents his special Bare Bones acoustic show during his 2027 visit. Adams last brought his acclaimed Bare Bones production down under in 2011, making this upcoming concert his first performance in this format in Australia in more than 15 years. This offers a rare opportunity to experience one of music’s most celebrated catalogues in a stripped-back setting.
The announcement of the Gold Coast show comes off the extreme interest in his other Australian shows. Forcing the addition of a new Sydney show.
Ticket demand in Sydney peaked rapidly when the opening show at Afterpay Arena on Friday 26 February officially sold out. In response, organisers have announced a second and final Sydney arena show, giving fans another chance to see the Canadian rock icon live on a Saturday night, with a new performance added at Afterpay Arena on Saturday 27 February.
A Rare Acoustic Experience at The Star Gold Coast
While the wider tour showcases large-arena performances, the Gold Coast date offers a completely unique experience. The Bare Bones acoustic format offers a stripped-back performance style, presenting Adams’ legendary songs in a warm, direct theatre setting.
Because the Gold Coast is the sole Australian location selected for the Bare Bones format during the 2027 tour, the one-night-only event at The Star is set to be extremely popular with fans looking to witness this rare experience.
