On Friday 25 April, Australians and New Zealanders will gather to honour the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings—one of the most significant chapters in our national story. Across the Gold Coast, dawn services and commemorative marches provide powerful opportunities to reflect, remember, and recognise the sacrifices of those who served.

Whether you’re up with the birds for a sunrise tribute or joining a local march later in the day, here’s your updated guide to ANZAC Day 2025 services across the region.


CURRUMBIN

Dawn Service – 5:00am (March from 4:35am)
Morning Service – 11:00am (March from 10:35am)
Currumbin’s beachfront ceremony at Elephant Rock is one of the most moving in the country. Thousands line the shore in silence, watching the sun rise over the sea as a new generation pays its respects to the old.


MUDGEERABA – ROBINA

Dawn Service – 4:20am (Elsie Laver Park)
Afternoon March – 3:30pm (form up from 3:00pm)
Sunset Service – 3:30pm – 5:30pm
This community delivers a full day of remembrance, from the tranquil dawn to a beautiful sunset service at the RSL Sub Branch.


TWEED HEADS & COOLANGATTA

Dawn Service – 5:55am
Main Service – 11:00am (March from 10:30am)
Chris Cunningham Park, right on the border, hosts this peaceful riverside service that brings together residents from both sides of the state line.


HELENSVALE

Dawn Service – 5:00am
Anzac Day March – 10:15am
Remembrance Park behind Club Helensvale will be the gathering place for a solemn morning Anzac tradition, followed by a community march departing from Upper Coomera Community Centre.


BURLEIGH HEADS

Dawn Service – 4:28am
Morning Ceremony – 9:15am
Held at the corner of Connor Street and the Gold Coast Highway, Burleigh’s early morning service is a local favourite, with heartfelt tributes echoing through the morning air.


SOUTHPORT

Dawn Service – 5:00am
Anzac Park, located at the southern end of the Broadwater Parklands, becomes a sea of flickering candles and heartfelt silence as the community gathers to reflect at first light.


ROBINA

March – 8:30am (form up from 8:00am)
Service – 9:00am
Join Robina’s commemorations at Robina Town Centre. The march steps off from Arbour Lane before the official service begins at the external car park of Robina Auditorium.


NERANG

Dawn Service – 4:45am
Main Service – 10:00am (March from 9:40am)
Nerang’s day begins at the local Cenotaph before the community comes together again at Bischof Pioneer Park for a late-morning ceremony following the march from the Maid of Sker end of town.


RUNAWAY BAY

Dawn Service – 5:00am
Morning Service – 10:00am (March from 9:30am)
Gather beside the local library at the ANZAC Place Cenotaph or join the march from the Seagulls Rugby League carpark for this northern Gold Coast tribute.


SURFERS PARADISE

Dawn Parade – 5:00am (form up from 4:45am)
Dawn Service – 5:30am
Midday Ceremony – 12:00pm
From beachfront dawn services to the midday gathering at Cavill Park, Surfers Paradise offers several opportunities to honour the fallen in the heart of the city.
