American supermodel, designer, author and body activist Ashley Graham is headed to Australia for the first time.
Graham will appear at the 23rd Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival, walking the runway and headlining as keynote speaker at the inaugural Australian Fashion Summit.
The Model whose influence has reshaped the fashion and media industries and redefined traditional beauty standards, Graham made history in February 2016 as the first US size 14 model to ever be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swim.
She has since graced the covers of Vogue, British Vogue, Harpers Bazaar UK, Elle and more. An extensive list of accolades also follows the model, including a position on the Time’s 100 most influential people in the world and she’s also the United Nation’s Women for Peace Associations first “Women Empowerment Award” recipient.
Graham is also committed to creating a’ new normal’ ensuring the fashion and beauty industry genuinely reflect the diverse world we live in. Her podcast Pretty Big Deal launched in Octoebr 2018, featuring intimate, off the cuff conversations with some of the boldest, most influential people in the world
