Blake Griffin hosted his second annual live comedy benefit in Hollywood last night to raise money for the Team Griffin Foundation, a charity that aims to inspire young people to nurture their passions, whether that’s in athletics, academics, or the arts. In addition, he gave one up and coming comedian from Detroit a chance to make a mark with the Hollywood lights shining bright.
Produced by Red Bull, “comedy. by Blake” was curated and hosted by Griffin, and featured performances by some of his favorite comics at NeueHouse Hollywood.
In attendance were some of Griffin’s sports and entertainment friends, including Andre Drummond (Detroit Pistons), Craig Robinson (The Office, Pineapple Express, Hot Tub Time Machine), Jimmy O. Yang (Silicon Valley, Crazy Rich Asians) and Mike Judge (creator of Beavis and Butt-Head).
