BONNIE ANDERSON is set to release her debut single ‘RAISE THE BAR’ on November 8th through Sony Music Entertainment Australia. Bonnie was introduced to the Australian music scene in 2007 after winning the first series of Australia’s Got Talent at just 12 years old. The release of ‘RAISE THE BAR’ marks the next chapter for Bonnie Anderson, kicking it off in no better way than teaming up with Australia’s premium song writing team, Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci aka DNA Songs. As Bonnie explains, “We were playing around with some melodies and it just came together. What I love about ‘RAISE THE BAR’ is that it’s fun, a bit cheeky, doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet still has that cool edge.” Bonnie has served an amazing musical apprenticeship, touring internationally with Jimmy Barnes at just thirteen; sharing the spotlight on a duet of ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ every night. “Touring with Jimmy was a great experience, his work ethic is amazing,” says Bonnie. “Watching such a talented performer really taught me how to grab a crowd and own my stage.” Bonnie has also clocked up over 150 of her own gigs, playing with a host of other Australian music legends including Diesel, Kate Ceberano and Ian Moss. In addition, the release of ‘RAISE THE BAR’ coincides with a support slot on UK superstar OLLY MURS’ first Australian Tour, which will visit venues along the East Coast starting in Sydney on November 9th, continuing on to Newcastle, Melbourne and Brisbane.
