Brisbane Fashion Festival 2024: Unveiling the Latest Spring / Summer Collections

The Brisbane Fashion Festival (BFF) is back for 2024, promising a bigger, bolder, and brighter program that will delight fashion enthusiasts from across the nation. With the support of the Brisbane Economic Development Agency, the highly-anticipated festival will make its return to the heart of the city, King George Square, from Sunday 25th to Friday 30th August.

The 2024 festival program boasts a lineup of over 50 designers, retailers, and fashion precincts, all eager to present their must-have collections for the new Spring/Summer season. From beloved Queensland favourites to coveted national labels and emerging talents, guests can expect an inspiring celebration of new-season fashion that displays a refreshing diversity.

Recognising the overwhelming response to the 2023 Festival, seating capacity for this year’s runway shows has been amplified to 700 guests per event. This upgrade invites thousands of fashion fans to enjoy the style spectacular and offers a unique opportunity to experience the joy of fashion, firsthand.

Festival Director Lindsay Bennett voiced his excitement about the strong lineup of designers, and his belief that it will inspire festival-goers to choose local. “Our event showcases new-season collections as they land in-stores and online, so inspired audiences can shop the runway and choose local for their new wardrobe must-haves,” he shared.

Brisbane Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner expressed his enthusiasm, highlighting that the Brisbane Fashion Festival is a vibrant showcase of colour and style that reinforces Brisbane’s reputation as a global destination for fashion and creativity.

The runway program commences on Tuesday night, 27th August, with the W BRISBANE Fashion Show featuring a blend of local and national labels. The program continues with the Hancock Prospecting Next Gen Group Show on Wednesday night, 28th August, and concludes with the Designer Group Show on Thursday night, 29th August.

But the fashion extravaganza doesn’t end on the runway. The festival also includes a series of special events, such as the W BRISBANE Sunset Launch Party, High Tea and Designer Salon Showing presented by QueensPlaza, Wintergarden, and Edward St Brisbane, and an indulgent Luxe Luncheon hosted by Hanworth House amongst others.

The Brisbane Fashion Festival 2024 promises to be an unforgettable celebration of local talent, creativity and style. Tickets are available now via the Brisbane Fashion Festival website, with prices starting from $55.00. Fashion enthusiasts are invited to secure their tickets, enjoy the spectacular series of fashionable events, and support local this Spring/Summer season.
