This winter, the Gold Coast’s favourite outdoor party destination Cali Beach Club has transformed into The Rooftop Lodge, a winter wonderland including Igloos, Hot Tubs, and luxury Alpine Lodges.
The transformation costs more than $250,000 to create a truly spectacular and brand-new venue at Cali Beach’s site this winter. Launched this week, with Set Mo headlining the big event, The Rooftop Lodge is open every Friday to Sunday with free entry and access to all areas day and night for anyone over 18.
You’ll have until the end of August to marvel at this must-see activation
Guests, are able to sample the restaurants and bars whilst being transported to a winter oasis that makes you feel like you’re dining and drinking amongst the Swiss Alps and kicking on at a snow bombing.
Every inch of the venue has been transformed, with over 60 snow-topped trees, fire pits and faux snow falling throughout the venue. In addition, a massive dome Igloo bar situated within an Alpine Forest the size of a tennis court has been craned in, complete with a purpose-built toboggan slide for entry and all the cosy furnishing to make you feel like you’ve just stepped into a warm mountain chalet.
Saké Sisters restaurant is becoming an Après Ski Lodge, with an Alpine fit-out and updated menu. In addition, the Cali shop is turning into a Chalet Bar and there will be fire pits and blankets throughout all the free-standing and seating areas for extra warmth and comfort.
The famous cabanas are being converted into luxury Alpine lodges with new facades, firepits and cosy furnishings that transport guests to a Swiss ski village, VIP style of course. Ideal for groups up to 25 people, and those who are looking for a more VIP experience, the lodges can be upgraded to come with your own bar staff, bottle service and delicious winter cuisine.
