There is nothing like a few male Adonis’ mixed with a few beauties and a killer runway performance to showcase Carter Cole’s spring/summer collection for 2013.
The Brisbane based label caters to men’s sports and leisurewear, which has been deemed the men’s equivalent to Lorna Jane.
GC Mag caught up with the three musketeers behind the label to find out exactly what makes Carter Cole so hot right now.
Tony Eid, Kalil Zeitoun and Salar Alehossein have blended fitness and fashion and transformed it into the unique Carter Cole label.
According to the fashion trio Carter Cole is a “fashion label that is ‘street savvy’, unique and easily recognisable”.
“Our assessment was that there was a big void in the men’s sports fashion clothing category. So we created Carter Cole with the intention of filling that void, and also with the appeal of a unisex brand that could also be marketed to the female market” Salar Alehossein added.
Carter Cole officially launched its new collection at Oh Hello Nightclub, Fortitude Valley on Friday 27 September and was proudly sponsored by Cîroc Vodka.
The launch saw 250 people turn out to support the upcoming men’s label and was truly a night to remember with a choreographed fashion show that put all other runway shows to shame.
The showcase embodied unique elements such as dance routines, a professional boxing routine and a violin soloist to top it off.
“Carter Cole has to remain a unique brand and in order for it to do so, we must always think outside the square. We had to create a show that was unlike any other fashion parade we had seen or heard of” Tony told us.
It does not end there; Carter Cole is set to walk down the runway again at the Bulimba Fashion Festival charity event on Friday 11 October.
“We can’t wait to showcase our stuff at the festival, it is sure to be a great day” Tony said.
They have also been approached by Jetts gym in Ashmore on the Gold Coast for cross promotional work and have been invited to dress the Queensland Red’s players in Carter Cole attire for the Melbourne Cup fashion show held at the Regatta Hotel on Tuesday 5 November, 2013.
