It’s a beautiful time of year to be travelling and taking in the sites; there’s something about this time of year when everything seems more satisfying and the possibilities of a new year and new adventures rests upon us. Today we’re taking in the sites of Melbourne and kicking up our heels at the amazing Citadines on Bourke.
We’ve spent a lot of time in Melbourne over the past decade and always find ourselves back in the city, shopping, dancing, eating or working and just all around enjoying what is on offer.
We have stayed in almost every hotel in the CBD and even the occasional Airbnb but never quite finding a place that just kept us wanting to come back.

That was until our trip last year and checking into the Citadines on Bourke following a terrible experience (hotel nightmare) at another chain that will remain nameless. The team at the Citadines on Bourke truly saved the day and went above and beyond; it was just great to see a smiling face a clean and comfortable room and just fall into bed without a care in the world.
So when we decided to take our trip this year, we thought let’s head right on back, and nothing had changed greeted with a smile and excellent customer service that has us happy and glad to write this review.
This time we had some time to take in the excellent facilities at the hotel including a fully equipped gym, indoor pool, sauna and outdoor sundeck, all nice to have.
The best thing about staying once again on Bourke St is the location you’re only steps or minutes by tram away from the best places to shop, dine and urban explore in the country and if you need some help just ask the friendly team at reception.
So if you’re looking for somewhere to rest up and take on Melbourne, give the team a call at Citadines on Bourke.
