The Couch Outloud concept was established in May 2016 and was co-founded by Laurinda Janlewicz and Michelle Dumbrell. The inaugural show was held on 19 August 2016. The Couch Outloud is a live talk show that highlights the culture of the Gold Coast in an entertaining and interactive way.Â
Together with our host Nadia Sunde and musical comedian Glenn Stephens we aim to challenge the old stigma that the Gold Coast is void of artistic incitement and replace it with new visions of a thriving cultural vibrancy. The Couch Outloud guests share with the audience their story and vision on achieving a vibrant and sustainable arts and culture sector on the Gold Coast. This platform not only provides the community with a voice and insight into topics that affect them, but will lead the way for future cultural evolvement.
