Doug Ellin, best known as the creator of hit TV Show Entourage, is back behind the camera with a new pilot titled Ramble On, which stars Charlie Sheen in his first series since Two and A Half Men.
Ramble On is a scripted dramedy that joins Charlie Sheen, Kevin Dillon and Kevin Connolly staring as themselves immersed in real life about these Hollywood veterans looking to reinvent themselves, alongside up and comers looking to establish their own careers.
The show brings back many Entourage collaborations, and “This idea has been spinning in my head for years and seeing it come to life is incredible,” said Ellin. “I feel beyond grateful that so many of my ‘Entourage’ crew and cast members, along with some of the most talented, comedic forces in the industry, have joined us on this exciting new journey. We cannot wait to share this with the world.”
The series is the first for newly formed production company Angry Lunch, financed and backed by Ted Foxman and Doug Ellin and teams up with Action Park Media, Kevin Connoly’s podcast and entertainment company. The series also brings back long time collaborator Gary Goldman who serves as Executive Producer and Producer Jeremy Alter.
Mark Cuban said, “I am so excited for ‘Ramble On.’ I first worked with Doug on ‘Entourage’ and what he and Ted are doing with ‘Angry Lunch’ is set to be one of the most innovative in the business. ”
