ARIA Award-winning children’s entertainer Emma Memma is bringing her joyful energy back to the Gold Coast with a brand-new stage show that promises to get everyone twirling, signing and singing along. On Sunday 31 August, families are invited to join the fun at Emma Memma’s Dance Island Party—a vibrant live experience full of music, movement and inclusiveness.
Following the success of her Boop and Twirl Tour, Emma Memma is taking her colourful world of song and sign language to new heights with the Dance Island Party Tour. This show offers a tropical twist, blending beach-inspired beats and island melodies that bring sunshine straight to the stage.
Emma will be joined by her lively friends Elvin Melvin, BB Butterfly, Waffles the Wombat and her beloved Memma Mates. Together, they’ll dance, swim and celebrate in a fully interactive performance designed especially for young audiences.
Inclusivity is at the heart of every Emma Memma performance. Each 45-minute show includes an Auslan interpreter on stage, and both Emma and Elvin will be signing and dancing throughout. This dual-language approach ensures the entire audience can engage through both English and Auslan, placing visual communication at the forefront of children’s media.
Fans can expect to hear a delightful mix of Emma Memma’s classic songs alongside fresh favourites like Coconut Tree, Welcome to Dance Island, and Beach Trolley—a cheerful tribute to beach-bound parents everywhere. These catchy tracks are featured on Emma Memma’s YouTube channel and her new Dance Island Party album, which also includes upbeat hits like Jellyfish Blob and Crocodile Snap.
Doors to the Gold Coast show open at 9:15am, with the performance kicking off at 10am. With music, movement, creativity and connection woven into every moment, Dance Island Party is more than a concert—it’s a celebration of friendship and fun.
