SWELL Sculpture Festival transforms Currumbin Beach into a world-class outdoor sculpture park each September, showcasing over 80 large-scale artworks across a stunning natural landscape. Now in its 24th year, this free, family-friendly sculpture exhibition features works by acclaimed local, national, and international artists.

Immerse yourself in contemporary art at your own pace, with sculptures integrated seamlessly into the beachfront environment. Beyond viewing, visitors can deepen their appreciation through artist talks, guided gallery walks, hands-on sculptural workshops, and masterclasses led by participating artists.

The festival offers curated programming for all ages and interests: SWELL Kids Elements introduces younger visitors to contemporary art through interactive activities, while the SWELL Fringe Festival program adds energy with beach meditations, live music, DJ sets, creative workshops, artist panels, and rotating pop-up exhibitions throughout the 10 days.

This inclusive celebration of artistic narratives and cultural storytelling creates a dynamic meeting place where art, community, and nature converge.
