At the end of the heat, I decided to play a tactical game and wait it out for a good one and try and get an eight or nine. Luckily one came to me. All the guys in the heat waited patiently and didn’t hassle at all. I think we’re all past that stage where we’re trying to psych each other out for the win.” The 2013 Australian Surf Festival will wrap up tomorrow with all remaining heats and finals.
