Kirra Point Precinct have unveiled plans for the first stage of their spectacular and highly anticipated development, launching two of the most stunning hospitality destinations to ever hit the Southern Gold Coast just in time for summer. Located directly opposite the beach, Kirra Beach Hotel and Kirra Beach House will both open this November and are set to become major draw cards for both locals and visitors who are keen to drink in the magic of Kirra.
Situated only five minutes from Gold Coast airport and in between Burleigh and Byron Bay, the coastal gem of Kirra has long been an insider’s secret – a quiet haven with the laid-back, sand-between-your-toes feeling of being on one endless, glorious summer holiday.
KTQ Group, led by owner and visionary Peggy Flannery, has spent 11 years carefully bringing the vision for Kirra Point to life, working in partnership with architect Mark Damant from Little Boat Projects. The $85 million precinct has been designed to preserve the integrity of Kirra’s coastal lifestyle and richness of its deeply rooted local character, whilst creating an aspirational destination where the local community and visitors alike can experience and bask in the magic of Kirra.
Stage one includes the already sold-out ‘Miles’ residential tower, 116 apartments with an unrivalled north-facing oceanfront perspective. It also features two distinct yet complementary hospitality venues opening in November:

Kirra Beach Hotel
Opening November 8th, the revitalised Kirra Beach Hotel pays homage to the original pub which has stood as a local icon since 1956. Managed by experienced publican Greg Hodge, the new 1,300 sqm venue will remain a friendly, no-fuss favourite while introducing a fresh, coastal-inspired bistro menu using local produce.
With soaring 5-metre ceilings and wide-open windows flooding the space with sunshine, the venue celebrates Kirra’s surf culture with memorabilia adorning the walls. A vibrant family-friendly bistro, beer garden, kids area, sports bar and boutique bottle shop aim to maintain its role as the heart of the community.

Kirra Beach House
Launching mid-November above the hotel, Kirra Beach House will be a magnificent 1,200 sqm elevated beachfront venue operated by SITE Hospitality’s Dave Galvin. Designed as a stylish ode to coastal living, the stunning indoor and outdoor spaces, bars and cabanas will offer unparalleled panoramic ocean views.
Executive chef Sebbie Kenyon has created a Mediterranean-inspired grazing menu focusing on fresh local seafood and produce. With several indoor and outdoor event spaces, Kirra Beach House is set to become the premium event venue on the Southern Gold Coast.

The Long-Term Vision
Kirra Point has been carefully envisioned by KTQ Group as a highly considered public space that will enrich the charm and lifestyle of Kirra. Peggy Flannery explains, “We have taken great pride and care in designing a precinct that will have a warm and welcoming seaside village atmosphere that will enrich the community long term and help it to thrive, creating a way of life that welcomes everyone to be part of it and a space that creates lasting moments.”
Part of the long-term plan for stage two is a second residential tower, boutique hotel and carefully curated laneway retail precinct. This will include a village square, boutique retailers, fresh food marketplace, wellness facility and more dining options. When fully completed, it aims to create a deluxe, buzzing lifestyle precinct with a true seaside village feel.
The opening of Kirra Beach Hotel and Kirra Beach House represents the first step in realizing the vision for Kirra Point. Locals and visitors alike can look forward to these exciting new venues launching this summer, bringing a new era of hospitality and lifestyle to the Southern Gold Coast.
