FISHER Expands Out 2 Lunch Festival Nationwide for Massive 2026 Run

FISHER’s Out 2 Lunch Festival expands nationally in May 2026 with stops in Melbourne, Gold Coast, Sydney and Perth. Tickets on sale 25 February

The lunch break just got significantly longer for Australian electronic music fans. After cementing its status as one of the country’s most in-demand new festivals, FISHER’s Out 2 Lunch Festival with Vodafone is set to expand well beyond its Queensland roots. Following a history-making debut on Coolangatta Beach in 2024 and a triumphant return in 2025, the 2026 edition will see the “monster party” go nationwide this May.

Curated by Australian dance icon FISHER, the festival has quickly built a reputation for combining world-class electronic music with iconic open-air locations. The event promises a specific brand of “chaos-meets-community energy” that fans have come to expect from the pro surfer turned global DJ phenomenon.

From Coolangatta to the Coast-to-Coast

While the festival was born by the water in the Sunshine State, organisers state it was always destined for a broader stage. The 2026 tour will encompass four massive open-air shows, transforming parks and racecourses into daytime party playgrounds.

The tour kicks off in Melbourne on Saturday, 2 May. The Victorian capital was reportedly left wanting more after FISHER’s appearance at last year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival. He returns to the iconic Flemington Racecourse to “turn the energy up to 11”.

The following day, Sunday, 3 May, the festival hits the Gold Coast. While Coolangatta was the birthplace, FISHER is staking ownership of a new home at the breathtaking Doug Jennings Park.

Sydney joins the rotation on Saturday, 9 May, taking over the Sydney International Regatta Centre. The harbour city received a preview of the energy last year when FISHER announced a pop-up back-to-back set with Chris Lake just 48 hours before the show. That event secured over 25,000 sign-ups and sold out instantly, setting the stage for a massive turnout at the Regatta Centre.

Finally, the tour heads west to finish in Perth on Sunday, 10 May. Organisers note that it is only fitting for the festival to complete its run on the west coast, transforming Wellington Square for the finale.

An All-Star International Lineup

Joining FISHER for the national tour is a curated selection of international and Australian talent, ranging from underground innovators to bass-heavy legends.

English electronic duo Gorgon City brings over a decade of global club culture experience to the bill. Known for a mix of big room house and underground bassline, the duo has amassed over 1.5 billion collective streams and sold out major venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and The Shrine in Los Angeles.

Also on the lineup is Skream, otherwise known as Oliver Jones. A key figure in keeping the legacy of UK rave culture alive, the London-based producer has enjoyed a career spanning more than 20 years. Jones has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, from Seth Troxler and Dom Dolla to Dennis Ferrer.

Sarah Story, a DJ and label boss, joins the tour as a central figure in modern club culture. Story is recognised for bridging underground innovation with global reach, having played major stages including Glastonbury, Creamfields and Parklife.

Chicago DJ Azzecca is set to deliver her signature “techno/house/dark dance” sound. Her sets are described as residing in the spaces between rolling psychedelia, old school house, euphoric trance and playful techno.

Representing the local contingent is the Gold Coast’s own Little Fritter. This marks his third consecutive year on the Out 2 Lunch lineup. The dancefloor favourite has showcased his “technicolour creations” at major Australian events and international institutions.

New Music and Ticket Details

FISHER himself returns to the stage armed with fresh material. His new high-energy single, Rain, was released last week and immediately picked up a full across-the-board addition to triple j. Fans can expect the track to be a staple of his sets throughout the May tour.

Tickets for the general public go on sale Wednesday, 25 February at 12:00 pm local time, with first release prices starting at $189.90. Several pre-sale options are available for fans looking to secure early access.

Vodafone customers have access to an exclusive pre-sale starting Friday, 20 February at 12:00 pm local time. A VISA Partner pre-sale follows on Monday, 23 February. The official Out 2 Lunch Fan pre-sale runs from Tuesday, 24 February at 12:00 pm local time until the following morning. Fans who register for the pre-sale also go into the draw to “fly with the fish” on tour.

For those looking to upgrade their festival experience, VIP packages including ‘The Ultimate Lunch Club’ and ‘Fisher Fast Pass’ will be available. Payment options include Afterpay for interest-free instalments.

As the festival prepares to hit four cities in two weeks, if you thought lunch was just a meal, think again.
