Francesca Hung joins E! Network as local host

This afternoon NBC Universal and E! Australia named Francesca Hung as its next local E! host and the face of E! across Australia.

Francesca will join E! to interview some of the world’s biggest celebrities and bringing Australians all the latest from Hollywood, direct to our screens. 

The former Miss Universe Australia who has walked many red carpets and undertaken a Masters in Publishing will be a great asset to the brand.
Francesca will switch gears and tap into her passion for entertainment and her natural flair for presenting. With a rapidly growing fan base, the down-to-earth and charming new host of E! Australia will share her diverse expertise across pop culture, fashion, beauty and more with the E! Australia audience.

Current E! Australia host, Ksenija Lukich will depart the role following five successful years at the helm. Discovered during the E! Host Australia Search, Ksenija earned the title of E! Australia’s first local host and has become a welcome face on our screens.

Over the last five years, Ksenija has become an important part of the E! family and a real success story for the network,”said Taylor. “Not only has she made a valued contribution to the business but has also become a real fixture in the world of entertainment,and we wish her every success for the future.” 

Ksenija will pass the reins to Francesca who, with her bold and playful personality, will deliver E! viewers their dose of pop culture. Francesca will cover leading entertainment stories – both locally and internationally – including reporting live from the red carpet, providing in-depth and insightful fashion commentary and interviewing the most successful and glamourous celebrities around the world.
