On Saturday, 12 September, Carolyn Morton hosted the ‘Donate for Doggies’ fundraising event in support of Assistance Dogs Australia. Welcoming an enthusiastic sold-out crowd of 110 guests, the event successfully combined philanthropy with entertainment to support the vital work of the national charity.
Through the generous contributions of the attendees, the ‘Donate for Doggies’ fundraiser raised over $15,000. These financial contributions will make a significant impact on the ongoing operations and community services provided by Assistance Dogs Australia.
Since 1996, Assistance Dogs Australia has served as a dedicated not-for-profit organisation focused on training and placing assistance dogs. The organisation works to foster independence and connection for individuals in need, delivering all assistance dogs and ongoing support at no cost to their new owners.
The $15,000 raised at the event directly contributes to funding the training and placement of these essential dogs.
