Meatstock 2025: Australia’s Biggest BBQ and Music Festival Returns

Toowoomba, we have some massive news! Meatstock is officially making a triumphant return, and organisers are saying it’s going to be bigger and better than ever before.

If you’ve missed the smell of world-class BBQ and the sounds of rockin’ country music, mark your calendars. After a truly heartbreaking weather-related cancellation this year, the region’s favourite Meaty event is back on the calendar. Get ready for the ultimate sensory overload of BBQ, Bands, and Bedlam on Friday, April 10th, and Saturday, April 11th, 2026. As usual, all the action will go down at the Toowoomba Showgrounds.

Festival Director Jay Beaumont is absolutely stoked about the return, exclaiming that coming back to Toowoomba to celebrate a decade of Meatstock with these incredible supporters is “hugely exciting”. The community here has “always been a massive highlight for the tour,” and it “feels great to be back again”.

Beaumont described Meatstock as a perfect weekend for “like-minded music and food lovers,” with lots of families hanging out, camping together, and enjoying authentic barbecue, great music, and really fun entertainment. He noted that the Toowoomba Showgrounds is an “incredible venue” that will allow them to host the biggest and best possible event for this returning show.

The Stage Will ROCK!

The Jack Daniel’s live stage is set to feature an unmissable lineup. Expect international country superstars sharing the stage alongside some of Australia’s finest music talent.

The party kicks off on Friday with performances by Bryan Martin (USA) alongside The Wolfe Brothers, Max Jackson, Rachael Fahim, and Briana Dinsdale. Saturday is equally huge, featuring Morgan Evans, Chase Matthew (USA), Austin Williams (USA), Lane Pittman, Hayley Jensen, Denvah, and Abbie Ferris.

Beyond the iconic country music, Meatstock remains a true carnivore’s dream, featuring everything fans love about the festival. Get ready for some serious competition across the showgrounds:

• Heat Beads BBQ Wars: National and international teams will battle it out in the BBQ pit yard, vying for the title of best in their specific protein category.

• Australian Butcher Wars: The nation’s top butchers will put their razor-sharp skills on display in a fast-paced, meat-filled showdown.

• PBR Bull Riding: This adds a dynamic element to the festival! Get ready for the toughest 8 seconds in sport—the high-adrenaline, nail-biting, edge-of-your-seat action of the Professional Bull Riders.

If you’re after some lighter but still action-packed entertainment, you won’t want to miss the infamous Better Beer Dad Bod Contest, the Beard and Mo Wars, Arm Battles, and, of course, the crowd-favourite Sausage Sizzle Throwdown.

Looking to upgrade your own set-up? Guests can check out the extensive BBQ Expo to find everything they need for their at-home cooking. And for those feeling particularly daring, there is even an on-site tattoo station where you can get inked!

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

Staying close to the action is a breeze. You can choose from nearby hotels, local B&Bs, or opt for the ultimate festival experience by camping on-site. The venue offers space for caravans, RVs, and traditional camping.
As the sun sets, be sure to stick around for an epic fire show that will light up the night, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
