Tomorrow morning the Surfers Paradise foreshore will be transformed for the iconic Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw, kicking off at 6 am the connections will draw their starting positions for Saturday’s race day.
The connections of every runner in the $2 million The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions 2YO Classic field will arrive in style before randomly choosing the barrier from which their horse will start on Raceday, Saturday 14 January. Afterward, the classic Barrier Draw for the $2 million Gold Coast Magic Millions 3YO Guineas will be drawn, all of this takes place from 8:45 am.
Watch these stunning thoroughbreds gallop down Queensland’s most iconic beach ridden by champion jockeys, a must-see spectacle, and the best part is it’s completely free.
There will be a coffee van on the foreshore or alternatively grab a bite to eat from one of the many retailers in the Surfers Paradise Precinct. Take a front-row seat on the beachfront, bring the family, and get up close with jockeys and the former racehorses for an iconic photo.
