Tangalooma Island Resort Moreton Island

Just 75 minutes from Brisbane, this island paradise will keep you busy from morning to evening. When the sun starts to go down, the fun is only just beginning at Tangalooma Island Resort. Explore the subtropical reef life as you never have before on a Transparent Night Kayak Tour. Take off around the Tangalooma Wrecks on board your illuminated translucent kayak and see what life under the sea looks like as the spectacular underwater world below lights up. Encounter schools of fish, stingrays and so much more as your guide takes you around the fifteen sunken shipwrecks.

But your night doesn’t have to stop there. Back at the resort jetty a pod of wild dolphins have just arrived to feed. The pod has been visiting guests at Tangalooma for decades and recently welcomed its newest calf, Comet, who has fast become very popular with the adoring crowds.
