The Gold Coast skyline has always been a sight to behold, and now, it’s about to become an even more immersive experience. The beloved Gold Coast icon, formerly known as the Four Winds 360 Revolving Restaurant, has been reborn as Horizon Sky Dining. Situated atop the newly refurbished Crowne Plaza in Surfers Paradise, this diningdestination promises a feast for the senses with its 360-degree views of the stunning cityscape, ocean and hinterland that revolves as you dine.

The newly renovated restaurant is the crowning jewel of the Plaza’s multimillion-dollar refurbishment. Perched on the 26th floor, this exquisite restaurant caters to 128 diners and offers the only rotating view of the Gold Coast. With each passing bite, the landscape transforms, revealing different aspects of the city’s beauty.

Executive Chef Jean-Marc Heussner has curated an expansive seafood buffet that will tantalize your taste buds. From locally sourced Mooloolaba Prawns and Pacific Oysters to scallops from Harvey Bay, the spread is a celebration of Queensland’s finest produce. The combination of delectable seafood menu and breathtaking views truly captures the essence of the Gold Coast, making Horizon Sky Dining a must-visit destination for both visitors and locals.

Beyond the culinary delights, the interior of restaurant has undergone a stylish and modern makeover to match its stunning exterior. Natural finishes, light and bright tones, and subtle nautical touches create an ambiance that complements the awe-inspiring vistas. Crowne Plaza’s General Manager, Jason Farnworth, describes the experience as

“jaw-dropping,” and it’s easy to see why. The 360-degree view of the Gold Coast skyline rotates every 45 minutes, making it the perfect backdrop for a romantic meal, a celebration with friends, or a memorable family outing.

The launch of Horizon Sky Dining is a significant milestone in Crowne Plaza’s recent renovation journey. The entire hotel, from its 269 rooms to its exterior, has undergone a sophisticated transformation. Inspired by a beach-chic design, the rooms now offer a stylish and comfortable retreat for guests. The once terracotta façade of the hotel has been replaced with a fresh white facelift, enhancing its contemporary appeal.

“We’re thrilled to be offering another sophisticated yet affordable accommodation option for travelers coming to the GoldCoast,” says Mr. Farnworth. Crowne Plaza has always been a sought-after destination for those looking to stay and play on our beautiful coast, and now, with the revamped complex, it’s even more enticing for new and returning travelers.

The restaurant will open its doors for lunch and dinner from Thursday to Saturday, with lunch bookings available on Sunday. Prices start from $110 per adult and $65 per child, making it an accessible luxury experience. Bookings for both the hotel and Horizon Sky Dining can be made through the Crowne Plaza website.
