The Gold Coast is set to welcome a stunning new addition to its dining and nightlife scene with the opening of Hotel Jardin. This three-level luxe piano bar and restaurant, located inside the Chevron Renaissance in Surfers Paradise, will launch its first stage starting on November 21st.
The venue’s debut will introduce the ground-floor Lobby Bar, the Level 1 Piano Bar, and SABA Kitchen. Hotel Jardin is designed to become Surfers Paradise’s new go-to destination, offering spaces that move effortlessly from intimate piano sessions to large-scale events and private celebrations.
Hotel Jardin General Manager, Aurelien Ducroux, spoke about the vision for the venue: “Hotel Jardin is all about incredible food, great drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s an exciting, new type of entertainment hub to have on the Gold Coast,”. He also noted that the venue “has been a long time in the making” and expressed pride in finally opening the doors.
The venue’s dining experience is anchored by SABA Kitchen, a lush, pan-Asian dining room led by notable chef, Executive Chef Minh Le. Housed within a sleek, modern setting, featuring the curated, spice-driven, and playful menu for which Chef Le is known. Diners can expect dishes such as robata-grilled skewers, sashimi kissed with yuzu, and game-farm duck glazed with honey.
The center of Hotel Jardin’s first chapter is the Piano Bar. This Level 1 space is described as a moody, late-night venue with a baby grand taking center stage. The Piano Bar captures a Paris-meets-Gold Coast energy, focusing on transforming classic and contemporary hits into soulful, live reinterpretations.
Live entertainment will light up the night every Thursday and Friday, featuring performances that range from sing-along anthems to ballads with jazzy twists. Curated playlists will set the atmosphere throughout the remainder of the week.
Hotel Jardin – Stage 2
The debut on November 21st marks only the first stage of the Hotel Jardin experience. Stage two of the venue’s launch is scheduled for early 2026 with the highly anticipated opening of the rooftop. This future space is being designed for starlit revelry, highball cocktails, and cascading greenery.
General Manager Ducroux anticipates that when the rooftop opens, it is “going to add a whole new level of experience to Hotel Jardin and redefine the way people experience dining and entertainment here.”
