The Red Bull Holden Racing Team has faced an unexpected hurdle today during pre-enduro testing at Queensland Raceway ahead of this month’s Sandown 500.
The team took to Instagram to share details of a massive crash involving the #97 Commodore driven by Shane Van Gisbergen, who is out of the car and ok.
According to the post the van Gisbergen lost control of the #97 due to a break failure and spun into the wall at turn 6, the car was expected to be taken to the workshop for repairs, but the team now are attempting to repair the vehicle at Queensland Raceway.
