Well today we are sitting down to chat with Paula Vallero one of the finalists of the face of fashion week who is in the mix with Ten others to be appointed the face of the QT Fashion Week and Awards 2014 to be held in April.
Starting off with the basics who what and where inspires you most..? 
In terms of every day life I would definitely say my family inspires me the most, as I love making them proud. But In the modelling world I am most inspired by Miranda Kerr and Jocelyn Savage. They are both beautiful Australian raised models who are both in positions I am striving to be in! Miranda was a Victoria Secret Model and Jocelyn a Billabong model! I dream of one day achieving both those positions 🙂 Not only that but they both seem so down to earth, which I think is really important when becoming successful in anything you do.

If you had to describe yourself to someone in a few short words what would you say …? 
To describe myself in a few short words id say I’m a bit of an odd ball who really enjoys having fun and being happy 🙂 I like making others happy and truly enjoy the company of my family and friends.
Where would you say you find your motivation …?
My modelling motivation? This may sound typical buuuttt definitely Victoria Secret haha 🙂 They have the world’s top models and they are all so beautiful and healthy. They really change the views on a typical skinny model, as they are all so healthy and fit! After watching some interviews on them they all seem so down to earth as well. And their fashion show looks like SOO much fun! It would be a dream come true to walk down the Victoria Secret runway.
What would you say fashion means to you…?
Fashion to me is a means of expression. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they dress! Fashion is very important as it can be used to express ones personality and emotions at the time.
When did you first get started in modelling and what made you get into the industry …?
I started when I was 15 but only this year did I really start getting fully into it! It was something I always wanted to do mainly because it is so much fun! I love getting my hair and make up done and you never know how extravagant the shoot is going to be! I especially love the hype and the rush of fashion shows, wearing amazing clothes and meeting really fun people.
What would you say has been a career highlight so far..?
My career highlight hmm.. definitely this year! I got to shoot for a worldwide Nikon campaign for 2014, I modelled Jennifer Hawkins new Cozi range and I became a finalist of the Face of QT Fashion Week. It has definitely been an incredible year; I’ve had so much fun and met so many amazing people. 🙂
As the Gold Coast is pretty different market how would you describe Gold Coast Fashion …?  What makes it different in your eyes …? 
Gold Coast fashion is a very diverse and laid back scene. There are so many different cultures that have come together on the Gold Coast that the fashion has become very unique. People are able to openly express themselves through their personal style and the sunny Gold Coast weather allows for much more colourful and versatile looks.
What do you hope to come from your experience in the Face of Fashion Week Competition…?
I definitely hope to gain some exposure!! Amazing models have come out of this competition and winner of 2012 Face of Fashion Week, Jocelyn Savage, is a huge inspiration for me! I know Face of Fashion Week is an incredible opportunity and whether I win or not this will be an invaluable experience for me and my modelling career 🙂 I am really looking forward to it all.
Now as a final question what makes you stand out from the other finalists of Face of Fashion Week…
All the finalists are such beautiful and cool girls, but a combination of having unique Argentinian and European infused features with my fun and bubbly personality that comes with it, and a laid back, happy and driven attitude I have developed growing up in Australia sets me apart from the competition. Also, the passion I put into the things I do will ensure that I am always actively and enthusiastically endeavouring to ensure the best possible outcome in everything I would do as the Face of QT Fashion Week.
