Interview with Face of QT Fashion Week finalist Tess Caesar

Well today we are sitting down to chat with Tess Caesar one of the finalists of the face of fashion week who is in the mix with twenty others to be appointed the face of the QT Fashion Week and Awards to be held in April.
Well starting off with the basics who what and where
who inspires you most..?

In terms of every day life, my family definitely inspires me the most because I love making them proud, but in regards to modelling it would have to be Miranda Kerr, she’s at the forefront of Australian fashion and is such an inspiration.

If you had to describe yourself to someone in a few short words what would you say …?

I think I am a very bubbly, energetic and spontaneous person. At least I hope so!

Where would you say you find your motivation …?

My motivation definitely comes from the competitiveness of the modelling industry; there are so many amazing girls out there with same dream as mine so I try my best and keep my fingers crossed.

What would you say fashion means to you…?

I truly believe that fashion is a reflection of who you are. Your personal style is an extension of your personality, it can represent what trends you currently love or the mood you are in that day. Fashion is a huge part of my every day life!
When did you first get started in modelling and what made you get into the industry …?
I have always had an interest in modelling growing up but I was too shy to pursue it, but in 2010 my best friend encouraged me to enter a model search competition held by a Gold Coast agency and I won. I have been modelling ever since and loving it.
What would you say has been a career highlight so far..?
Being the face of Undress Brisbane was a big deal for me and such a great experience. I’m also flying around Australia soon to be the face of a skin care range, which is very exciting!
As the Gold Coast is pretty different market how would you describe Gold Coast Fashion …?  What makes it different in your eyes …?
I find that Gold Coast fashion is a lot more experimental and eclectic than other places. There is so much freedom for people to express themselves through their personal style and clothes. The Gold Coast market particularly encourages such a diverse and innovative fashion scene, which I really love.
Now as a final question what makes you stand out from the other finalists of Face of Fashion Week
The  finalists are all such beautiful girls! All I know is that I give more than one hundred per cent in everything I do and modelling is my passion. I think I am a healthy and happy girl and I would love to be the Face of Fashion Week.
