Jack Fardell wins prestigious US skate comp

Hurley Australia’s Jack Fardell has taken out the prestigious FTC For The Cash contest in San Francisco, USA.  The skate competition saw the FTC store take over Haight Street

San Francisco with a specially built course that ran from the confines of the shop to the backyard.

The day long competition featured five-man jam sessions, with Jack Fardell coming out on top against some of the best skaters in the world to take home the $10,000 cash.  Tristan Funkhouser came second and Evan Smith third.

Following the competition Jack Fardell said, “The contest was one of the coolest events I’ve been invited too. The FTC store on Haight Street took the original idea of having the course

built in the store to their backyard and it went off in true San Francisco style. Barely room to move and an epic one day only skate park that got shut down by skateboarders from around

the country. Still can’t believe I won, thanks to everyone involved”.

From Elanore, Queensland Fardell is the current Australian Bowl Riding Champion with a style that has turned heads all around the world.

He has effortlessly gained a hugeamount of respect as being the fastestand most raw skater in Australia, setting him on the way for world domination.

Jack is renowned for everythingfrom padlessly shredding bowls toattacking full-blown monster handrailswith board control that is second to none.
