Jungle Announce Laneway Sideshows

“Fresh off a stellar Splendour In The Grass performance, Jungle’s sold-out Sideshow at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory cemented their place as one of the biggest buzz bands of the year.” Music Feeds Jungle are heading back to Australia for Laneway Festival and have added headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne to the tour! Woot! One of Splendour In The Grass 2014’s break out acts, Jungle’s sideshows earlier this year were amongst the first to sell out and by the time they touched down in Australia the buzz was reaching fever pitch. It’s been a massive twelve months for Jungle. Since playing their very first show on 10 October 2013 the duo – that expands to a seven piece when touring – has toured the world playing Glastonbury, Reading, Lollapalooza, Splendour and an endless list of headline shows including a sold out tour of the US on the back of the buzz they created at SXSW. They released their self-titled debut album in July this year and its infectious 70’s inspired, tropically flavoured, report-to-the-dancefloor-immediately funk and bass has won them fans around the world. Not to mention some seriously good videos! Shortlisted for both the BBC Sound of 2014 and the prestigious Mercury Prize, they also smashed it on Jools Holland recently. Jungle have just finished up an extensive tour of the US and Canada, and kicked off a massive run of shows across the UK and Europe before making their way to Australia this January.
