Karl Stefanovic is stepping outside the studio and into the podcast space with a new show promising unfiltered conversations and no spin.
The veteran television presenter has announced The Karl Stefanovic Show, a podcast that will feature long-form interviews spanning politics, sport, business and culture.
Stefanovic, who has spent decades on Australian television, says the new venture is driven by curiosity and a desire for freedom in conversation.
The podcast will launch on Sunday, January 25 with a live episode featuring One Nation leader Pauline Hanson, streaming at 2pm AEST on YouTube.
The following episode, dropping on Tuesday, January 27, will feature UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski ahead of his upcoming fight in Sydney.
Stefanovic has described the show as unscripted and uncensored, with a focus on guests audiences genuinely want to hear from.
The format appears to draw inspiration from the long-form conversation style popularised by podcasters such as Joe Rogan, with Stefanovic positioning himself as a host willing to tackle a broad range of topics with few restrictions.
