Sad news this morning that rally and motoring icon Ken Block has passed away in a snowmobile accident in Utah

Sad news this morning that rally and motoring icon Ken Block has passed away in a snowmobile accident in Utah, the 55 year old best known for his rally success and gymkhana video series had posted enjoying the conditions just a few hours before the shock announcement.

Block’s team took to social media announcing that ” It’s with our deepest regrets that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today.
Ken was a visionary, a pioneer and an icon and, most importantly, a father and husband.
He will be incredibly missed.
Please respect the family’s privacy at this time while they grieve.”

Ken leaves behind his wife and three children and an incredible legacy across multiple sports, from rally, motocross and even skateboarding, with an incredible 16 wins in 60 rally America starts and five medals in the X games.

Ken was one of the first in the industry to take his content to social media, with his Gymkhana video series becoming some of the most successful motoring content in Youtube history and helping him amass millions and millions of social followers.
