Kylie Eustace Finalist for 2015 Australian Make-up Artist of the year

Kylie has been in the make-up and hair industries for over 20 years and loves the business. She owns and runs a busy salon and has her own thriving professional mineral makeup range, especially formulated for people with sensitive skin. Kylie also does a lot of makeup, including Fashion, editorial photoshoots, special occasion, event make-up, fashion parades as well as television and video work. Kylie regularly contributes tips to makeup articles and has had much of her professional makeup work published in magazines worldwide. Kylie also enjoys teaching; and runs both individual and group make-up classes and is a regular ‘Industry expert’ guest speaker for Beauty schools. She finds personally mentoring enthusiastic students, especially those with a similar love of natural products, especially satisfying. For the last five years Kylie has directed, designed the looks and been the lead artist at fashion parades. Life as a makeup Artists has been a dream reality for a creative like Kylie. Kylie’s advice for those interested in a career in makeup is, you must be prepared to work hard and fast. Equally as important Kylie believes if you want to become a professional makeup Artist you must be outgoing and a good communicator! Always listen very carefully and explain options and outcomes even more carefully. Come to a clearly understood agreement and then, deliver! Kylie feels, with good communication, no job is ever beyond her. The ability to interpret, liaise and deliver the ideas and result best suited to whatever job she is working on has been her greatest strength. Being an ABIA Makeup artist of the year finalist again this year is an opportunity for Kylie to share her passion at a greater and even more exciting level.
