The Gold Coast racecourse has been given the green light for Saturday’s $14.5 million Magic Millions race day following a test gallop by top jockeys earlier this morning.

Six jockeys assessed the track’s condition after a key section was suspiciously poisoned in what is believed to be an act of sabotage last week, plunging Queensland’s premier racing carnival into chaos.

Magic Millions co-owners, Gerry Harvey and Katie Page said jointly, “Thank you so much.
