The youngest ever chef to receive three Michelin stars, Marco Pierre White will once again take centre stage at HOTA, captivating audiences with his extraordinary skills, storytelling, and magnetic presence. This three-day extravaganza kicks off on 5 June, and it’s packed with unforgettable experiences for food lovers, aspiring chefs, and anyone who appreciates the theatre of fine cuisine. From intimate, once-in-a-lifetime dining experiences to outdoor masterclasses under the stars, Marco’s return will truly celebrate the art of food.

The celebration kicks off with an In Conversation event at HOTA’s theatre. Marco will swap his chef whites for a seat on stage as he joins HOTA’s Executive Chef Dayan Hartill-Law for a candid Q&A. Together, they’ll dive deep into Marco’s storied career, touching on his time at legendary establishments like Le Gavroche and Le Manoir.

But that’s just the beginning.

Later, foodies will gather outdoors for a Masterclass like no other. In a relaxed open-air setting, Marco will share tales from his four-decade reign over the UK restaurant scene, sprinkle in some culinary demonstrations, and offer tips and tricks that showcase the brilliance of British gastronomy. Following a sold-out 2023 edition, guests will once again enjoy an intimate Q&A session with Marco before savouring a bespoke five-course menu. Each dish will showcase the best of South East Queensland’s produce, handpicked and crafted with Marco’s culinary philosophy in mind.

Dayan Hartill-Law couldn’t hide his enthusiasm: “Having Marco back in the kitchen with us is an honour. His knowledge, his storytelling, and the way he approaches food is truly inspiring. This time around, we’ve taken it even further – from fire-fuelled outdoor events to the most intimate of dinners.”

For those seeking an extra-special vantage point, a select few can secure seats at the exclusive Private Table within Elevate, Palette’s unique art lift experience. Here, guests will enjoy a rare behind-the-scenes view of the maestro at work.

A Star-Studded Grand Finale

Saving the best for last, the grand finale will light up the Outdoor Stage Lawn with an unforgettable evening under the stars. An elite gathering of chefs, including Tim Stewart (The North Room), Koki Anekawa (Anekawa), pastry expert Melanie Day, HOTA’s own Dayan Hartill-Law, and the legendary Marco Pierre White himself, will come together for a five-course collaborative feast.
