Day two of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival proved to be bigger and better then the first night.
It started off with the Monili Jewellers Bridal Group Show at 7PM.
Glamorous bridal designers showcased their exquisite gowns which were decked out in jewels hand made for the show by Monili Jewellers.
Some of the designers showcasing their gowns were Brides Desire by Wendy Sullivan, Bertossi Brides and Paddington Weddings, George Wu, and Rayner Lee, just to name a few of the amazing and talented designers and labels.
The real show stoppers surfaced at the Emerging Designer Group Show at 8:30PM.
This year’s bunch of trend setters showed us just how extremely talented they were with stunningly electric designs.
Some of the standouts where Begitta with her romantic white ball gowns, Otim Ajalia, by Peterson Opio, with his African Australian fashion for men and A Jacksonian Era by Cleo Jackson with her striking masquerade looks.
This show was a reminder that fashion is constantly emerging and evolving into pieces that come to life on the runway.
There are still plenty of opportunities to catch the shows and great atmosphere this week.
Tonight is the Brisbane Arcade Group Show at 7:00PM with some of Brisbane’s most celebrated fashion houses joining the party. Then at 8:30PM is the Mercedes- Benz Group Show for the more experienced designers to showcase their stunning collections to the fashion lovers of Brisbane.
