25 of Queensland’s most inspiring young women stepped onto the stage at Lina Rooftop for the highly anticipated 2025 Queensland State Final of Miss Universe Australia, proudly presented by Boldly Foods. It was a defining moment in their journey, as a select few earned their place as National Finalists, bringing them one step closer to the prestigious crown.
After months of preparation, networking events, and charitable initiatives, the Selection Committee had the incredibly difficult decision on who would proceed, naming seven exceptional finalists who will represent Queensland at the Miss Universe Australia 2025 National Final:
- Lexie Brant
- Chelsea Johnson
- Kai Hoare
- Asha Cooper
- Chloe Hardy
- Bianca Black
- Isabelle Chan
Over the past few months, the contestants have been fully immersed in the Miss Universe Australia program—attending exclusive cocktail and networking events, participating in workshops with program partners, and leading their own fundraising initiatives. A core part of their journey has been their dedication to ToyBox Australia, a children’s charity committed to supporting sick and disadvantaged kids.
Together, Miss Universe Australia finalists across the country have already raised an incredible $425,000 for the cause, with Queensland’s finalists making a significant impact in this achievement.
The Final Challenge Before Nationals
The Queensland State Final marked the final opportunity for contestants to impress the Selection Committee, who assessed them not only on their stage presence but also through official interviews. This critical phase allowed the Selection Committee to gain a deeper understanding of each finalist’s personality, passions, career aspirations, and goals—key elements in deciding who would move forward to the National Final.
With the Queensland finalists now selected, attention turns to the next exciting chapter: an exclusive group trip to Vietnam in May. There, all 28 National Finalists will gather at the stunning Hoiana Resort and Golf for an intensive week of training, experiences, and unforgettable moments. Travelling with Vietjet Air, the finalists will participate in a NIDA-hosted course, official photoshoots, self-development sessions, a charity visit, the filming of a Swim Series, and a series of luxurious dinners and pampering experiences.
After Vietnam, the finalists will reunite once again in Perth in August for the highly anticipated National Final Main Events at Crown Perth, where the next Miss Universe Australia 2025 will be crowned. The winner will go on to represent Australia on the global Miss Universe stage in Thailand.
