Netflix has opened the doors to its Bridgerton Masquerade Parlour in Melbourne, inviting fans to step into Regency-era opulence ahead of a weekend dedicated to the hit period drama.

The free pop-up experience at 362 Little Collins Street is now welcoming visitors from 9am to 6pm on Saturday 31 January and Sunday 1 February, with a queuing system in place and entry operating on a first-come, first-served basis. Those arriving at the storefront should look out for roaming paperboys and footmen.

Upon entry, guests are greeted by the store’s maid and invited to indulge in a series of pampering stations designed to prepare them for the Masquerade Ball. Four stations offer jewellery colour analysis, signature makeup shade identification, glove fitting and hair coiffures.

Visitors can also discover their Bridgerton character archetype through an experienced Masketeer, who uses visual and tactical cues to determine which mask suits each guest. Options include The Muse, The Bohemian and The Gossip.

To close out the experience, guests can pose for their own fairytale portrait in a Masquerade Ballroom setting and take home the keepsake.

The Melbourne activation arrives as fans flock to watch Australian actor Yerin Ha take the lead in Bridgerton Season 4 as the masked Lady in Silver. Ha stars as Sophie Baek opposite Luke Thompson’s Benedict Bridgerton, with Part 1 now streaming on Netflix and Part 2 arriving on 26 February.

Upon entry, guests will be greeted by the store’s maid and invited to indulge in:

  1. Pampering Stations: There will be four stations to help esteemed guests get ready for the Masquerade Ball with everything from Jewellery Colour Analysis, Signature Makeup Shade Identification, Glove Fitting, and Hair Coiffures.
  2. Character Mask Archetypes: An experienced Masketeer will follow visual and tactical cues to find out which Bridgerton character archetype guests most embody – are you The Muse, The Bohemian or maybe The Gossip? This is sure to get the ton talking.
  3. Masquerade Ball Keepsake: To close out the experience, guests will have an opportunity to pose for their own fairytale portrait in a gorgeous Masquerade Ballroom setting.
