The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach will be off again today due to small surf, but with the expectation that within the next few days there will be a significant improvement in the conditions.
There will be an Anzac Day ceremony tomorrow morning at 8 am and a call on the competition will be made at 07.40am
“There are no waves on offer this morning so we will not be running any heats today,” said WSL Competition Director, Kieren Perrow. “The great news is we’ve got a really exciting three days coming up. We have a couple of swells building into Friday afternoon and significant size for Bells. We will have really great waves with a finish on Saturday in pumping surf. Tomorrow we will have an ANZAC Day ceremony at 8:00 a.m. and we are looking to get underway just after that. We’ve set the call time at 7:40 a.m. to confirm the start time. We are looking forward to a great couple of days.”
