Burger PL8
First up we go inside the Burger Revolution with the great people at Burger PL8
Australians we’ve always had a fascination with Hamburgers, You know summers by the sand a burger firmly in your hand and a bag of chips to distract the mass of flocking seagulls.
But all of a sudden that staple of Aussie Burgers has been given a makeover, long gone are the days of a Soggy Tip-Top Bun and some lightly salted mince with slabs of Tomato and Beetroot and the regular lashings of T Sauce.
Say Hello to a generation of burger creations with new worldy cheeses, The introduction of Avocado or that American Onion Ring and a mix of sweet, savoury or smokey sauces that will take you on a Burger journey to rival that of the Hamburglers.
It’s a Revolution lead by people like Burger Pl8 who first hit the streets with the Bat Mobile I mean ‘The Burger Van’ trading at markets all around Brisbane for two years with their handcrafted creations…..
They took all that and opened up a great location in Jindalee serving up the same flavours and bringing those fresh, tasty and amazing burgers to your table along with some fantastic new options.
The “8” in Burger Pl8 signifies the 8 signature ingredients that make up the most popular “Beef Master” burger, with the patty itself coming from a delicious family recipe that’s truly the hero of the business.
The menu is made up of burgers, salad’s, bun-less burger’s, wraps, fries, shakes as well as a brand new breakfast menu. The Menu also caters for Health Conscious or Gluten Free and Coeliac Needs.
So if you’re out and about and looking for a tasty Burger whether that be with the standard options or something new we suggest stopping in and seeing the crew at Burger PL8, Looranah St, Jindalee it’s definitely enough to satisfy your hunger and more than likely just have you travelling back for more and more.

Spud The Food Truck
If you’re like us and consider the lovable potato a miracle of creation with so many options of crunchy soft and fluffy goodness you’re going to love the team at Spud The Food Truck.
Chelsea and Tee started out working in Chelsea’s parent’s food truck selling injectable doughnuts and cronuts, and while working these events, they noticed a gap in the market the fact that fries were being only served as a side. ( We know RIGHT !!)
We all know the humble spuds crispy goodness can hold it’s own as the hero of any dish and that’s when they kicked off their business.
First starting in a marquee with a frontage as a colossal packet of fries, they worked their way through many events into building and owning their very own food truck.
They decided on a different style of a food truck, having no signwriting, but instead a beautiful pressed tin exterior to show that fries can be a little bit fancy, and also to appeal to private events and Wedding catering.
Spud, The Food Truck, is the original GC food truck an icon serving a range of gourmet fries &
Load your own fries choosing your style of fry to your salt, sauce & loaded toppings, you can customise your fries just the way you like it!

Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tarts
Our final stop on this whistle-stop tour of food greatness is for of course dessert.
First, there was the Cronut then a myriad of food trends, but now it’s time for the Big Cheese!
We all know Cheese makes everything taste better, so a tart made up of three different types of time-honoured cheeses, freshly baked on-site daily is a compelling proposition.
Say hello to Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tarts now served fresh in Queensland at Pacific Fair;
Their namesake is the cornerstone of their offering: a savoury-sweet three-cheese situation encased in a shortcrust shell, designed to be eaten either hot or cold.
Inspired by the distinct cheesy taste of Hokkaido dairy, and using a traditional recipe from Japanโs dairy heartland, it is not surprising that the famed โHokkaido Baked Cheese Tartโ has been a massive hit throughout Asia, having successfully launched in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei and China. After tireless taste testing using local ingredients, the Hokkaido Baked Cheese Tart has succeeded in recreating the Hokkaido cheese flavour to perfection.
