The Queensland Coastline has been blessed with waves in recent weeks, courtesy of substantial cyclonic activity in the North. Event organisers anticipate forecasts that will offer conditions that will allow surfer’s to perform in great waves and raise the stakes among competitors. “They’re such fantastic events to be involved with,” said Surfing Queensland’s Event Manager, Adam Yates. “There’s such a great support from the local communities, and although there is a competitive element, they create such a fun environment to run a surfing event in,” he continued.
