Surfers Paradise is set to roar once again as the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast returns from 15 to 17 August 2025, promising three adrenaline-charged days of sky-high thrills, beachside buzz, and unforgettable family entertainment.
Now recognised as one of the most anticipated events on the Australian calendar, the 2025 edition of the airshow is gearing up to be “Bigger, Faster and Louder” than ever before. With tickets officially on sale today, organisers are urging fans to secure their spot early for what’s expected to be another blockbuster weekend on the Gold Coast.
Pacific Airshow Gold Coast Director Kevin Elliott said the team is committed to exceeding expectations.
“Our aim has always been to bring new experiences to the event each year that eclipse the expectations of our audience, and this year we will have many exciting new additions both on the ground and in the air,” Mr Elliott said.
Among the fresh offerings for 2025 is the stylish new Garden Bar experience right on the beach—a relaxed, social hospitality option set in the heart of the show site. Designed for those looking to take in the action with a touch of flair, this entry-level ticket includes three drinks and is tipped to sell out quickly.
Returning favourites will also make a comeback, including Private Cabanas and Chalets for groups, and popular shared spaces like the Beach Club and The Oasis, catering to a wide range of preferences and budgets.
For families, the 2025 event will introduce an upgraded STEM Zone, aimed at sparking curiosity in science and aviation among young minds, alongside a revamped Kids Zone to help younger attendees channel their energy between aerial spectacles.
Backed by the success of its 2024 edition, the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast has fast become a juggernaut on the Queensland events scene. Event organiser Code Four has successfully adapted its acclaimed Huntington Beach format to the Gold Coast, drawing some of the largest crowds in Queensland history and generating significant economic benefit.
Queensland’s Minister for the Environment and Tourism, Andrew Powell, praised the event’s growth and international status.
"The Pacific Airshow has taken off as one of the most anticipated events in Queensland, as a 1.5 kilometre stretch of the Gold Coast is packed with an estimated 270,000 spectators having the time of their life,” Minister Powell said.
He added, “We anticipate this year's event will help to generate more than $33 million in overnight visitor expenditure, with more than 22,000 people landing in Queensland specifically for it.”
The sentiment was echoed by Gold Coast Acting Mayor Mark Hammel, who said the event continues to impress.
“Pacific Airshow has rapidly become a must-see event and the best way to witness the action is through the ticketed precinct events. Grab your tickets today and be prepared to be entertained over three magic days,’’ Cr Hammel said.
Attendees can expect high-octane jet displays, world-class aerobatics, and beachside beats to create a festival-like atmosphere throughout the three-day spectacle.
