The Repco Bathurst 1000 Street Party is revving back into action after a wildly successful debut in 2024, with an even bigger event planned for Wednesday, October 8 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm AEDT in the heart of Bathurst CBD.

Fans can once again look forward to a free, high-energy afternoon and evening of entertainment, designed to bring the excitement of the Great Race straight from Mount Panorama to Russell Street. The city streets will come alive as all 27 Supercars and their superstar drivers make their way from the track to town, arriving at approximately 5:45pm in front of the Bathurst Courthouse.

This year’s convoy will be led by team transporters’ prime movers, giving fans a rare chance to witness the Championship’s big rigs cruising through the city before race weekend begins in earnest. The momentous arrival will be followed by a full driver signing session, giving fans the chance to meet all 54 drivers competing in the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000.

Supercars CEO James Warburton said the return of the Street Party is a direct response to its standout success last year.
“To have all 27 Supercars and our championship drivers on parade through the heart of Bathurst, meeting with our passionate fans, as well as a showcase of our world-class pit crews under lights on national television – that’s motorsport spectacle at its absolute finest and something truly unique to the Bathurst 1000,” Warburton said.

The action heats up further with the live broadcast of the PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge Finals from 5:30pm on Foxtel, as part of the official Street Party show. The top four pit crews from the season will battle it out for a $20,000 prize and the coveted Golden Rattle Gun Trophy.

Brad Jones Racing returns in pursuit of a record-extending sixth title, while Matt Stone Racing and Blanchard Racing Team aim to claim their first-ever wins. Triple Eight Race Engineering, last year’s winners, will not defend their title after being knocked out of the challenge earlier this month at Ipswich.

PIRTEK CEO Mark Devitt highlighted the challenge’s importance:
“The PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge gives us the perfect opportunity to showcase the quality of our products in a high-performance environment, where performance and reliability matter most,” he said.

Bathurst Mayor Cr Robert Taylor praised the energy the Street Party injects into the city.
“It’s fantastic, the sense of vibrancy that the Street Party brings to the Bathurst CBD. It’s a chance for locals and visiting race fans to come together, see the impressive array of cars and meet the drivers,” Taylor said.

Repco will once again deliver its signature flair, with modified vehicles, a mobile stage, and popular giveaways including the much-loved meat tray raffle adding to the afternoon’s atmosphere.
“Repco is incredibly proud to help bring the Bathurst Street Party back after such an amazing debut last year,” said Mitch Wiley, Repco’s Executive General Manager – Marketing. “We can’t wait to see Russell Street packed with fans, families, and kids as we kick off the biggest week of the year in style.”

The event is part of a week-long celebration leading up to the 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000, including the new Fan-Fest Tuesday powered by Repco on October 7. On-track action begins Thursday, October 9, with the Great Race taking centre stage on Sunday, October 12.
