It’s time to bid farewell to Summer with some friends under the palm trees at a Southern Californian blowout on the lawn of the Star’s Garden Kitchen & Bar.
The bars alfresco area has been transformed into a stunning jet-setting party precinct, evoking the cool festival vibes of Palm Springs, Joshua Tree and The Coachella Valley.
As the sun goes down every Thursday to Sunday, you can tipple and taste on a menu of Gordon’s Gin Cocktails; Golden State-inspired eats that will have you feeling like Palm Springs insta royalty.
The Gordon’s Pink Gin Spritz and frozen strawberry-infused Coachilla instil the rosy desert colours of Southern California while Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon Gin lends an indie edge with a crisp yet refreshing twist to So-Cal on The Lawn’s Palm Springs G&T, Summer Spritz and The East Coast Cali-cocktails.
The Star’s California Cravin’ menu options look as heavenly as they taste, including Chilled Moreton Bay Bug Rolls, Sriracha Tuna Poke Bowls and Crispy Eggplant Tacos.
The Star Gold Coast Chief Operating Officer Jess Mellor said So-Cal on The Lawn continued the premier entertainment venue’s plan to bring dream holiday destinations to the Gold Coast while international travel was off the cards.
“We started the summer by transforming The Lawn into an exotic and energetic Caribbean-styled party precinct and ushered in the New Year by bringing the chic Riviera to the Gold Coast,” Ms Mellor said.
“Now, we’re farewelling the season with the fabulous festival vibes of the US’s iconic So-Cal region for one last summer fling – The Lawn offering the perfect spot to experience laidback long weekends, live and local music and endless summer celebrations.”
With free entry and featuring a full lineup of musical artists and the Stafford Brother taking to the lawn on Feb 27, it’s sure to be a not to be missed slice of so-cal paradise.
