The Miss Universe Australia is set to make history through a landmark partnership with the Seven Network. For the very first time, the prestigious national final will be broadcast live to audiences across the country on Wednesday, 26 August 2026. The history-making telecast, brought to you live by Billy J, will be presented live from Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
The highly anticipated event celebrates beauty, purpose, and confidence, showcasing 28 finalists taking to the stage for the opportunity of a lifetime: to represent Australia on the global stage.
The broadcast schedule features two distinct live segments during the evening. The Live Red Carpet Arrivals Show will kick off the coverage at 7:00pm AEST on 7plus, followed immediately by the National Final starting at 7:30pm AEST. Viewers will be able to stream the entire evening live on 7plus, with the televised broadcast airing on Channel Seven following the programme The Front Bar.
The Hosts
Stage and screen star Rob Mills will host the spectacular evening alongside actress and former Miss Universe Australia Maria Thattil. To provide viewers with expert commentary and unprecedented access to the glamour, fashion, and excitement of the night, they will be joined by three former Miss Universe Australia winners: 2014 winner Tegan Martin, 2015 winner Monika Radulovic, and 2023 winner Moraya Wilson.
Presenter Rob Mills shared his enthusiasm for the landmark broadcast: “What a great gig and I can’t wait to be working with Maria and the team.
