Guests from across the Gold Coast enjoyed a delightful social gathering at the Ladybird Bar & Restaurant in the Imperial Hotel Gold Coast on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024, as they celebrated the Sovereign Islands & Surrounds January Community Luncheon.
The event hosted by Joanne Rahn and Marilyn West from Zanthii Communications, marking their 16th consecutive monthly luncheon. With a warm gathering of 80 guests, the event not only brought people together but also made a significant impact on the community. An incredible $7,000 was raised for the Enriching Lives Foundation, adding to their remarkable cumulative fundraising total of $60,210.00. This generous contribution has supported 15 noteworthy charities and community initiatives.
Special guests in attendance included Constantine Delo, the band leader of the globally renowned YouTube sensation, The Hindley Street Country Club. Additionally, they had the privilege of hosting two-time Big Brother Australia winner, Reggie Bird, and City of Gold Coast Division 4 Councillor, Cr Shelley Curtis.

The next luncheon will take place on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, at Red Steakhouse & Bar in Sanctuary Cove, where they will be raising funds for Act for Kids.
