In a heartwarming display of community spirit, Zanthii Communications’ Director, Joanne Rahn, and her mother, Marilyn West, recently hosted their 18th consecutive Sovereign Islands & Surrounds Monthly Community Luncheon. The event, held on Wednesday, 13th of March 2024 at Ioesco Restaurant in Sanctuary Cove, welcomed 90 guests who came together for a noble cause.
This month’s luncheon was particularly special as it saw an impressive $8,800 raised for the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation. With this generous contribution, the cumulative fundraising tally now stands at an impressive $76,120. This remarkable achievement has positively impacted 17 noteworthy charities and community initiatives, showcasing the power of collective effort and goodwill.
The success of the luncheon was made possible through the generous support of sponsors including Zanthii Communications, Kingsford Lawyers, Outsourced HR Solution, and Bendigo Bank Paradise Point. Their contributions played a pivotal role in ensuring the event’s triumph.
Looking ahead, the next luncheon is scheduled for Wednesday, 10th of April 2024, once again at Ioesco Restaurant, Sanctuary Cove. This upcoming event holds special significance as it will support the fundraising campaign of Stefanie and Victor Doree for The Carers Foundation Australia, titled Unsung Heroes 2024. This initiative aims to recognize and support the invaluable contributions of carers within our communities.
